Fall Bucket List

October 7, 2019

Last night I was going through WordPress catching up on some bloggers that I follow. I follow blogs that I can relate to, learn new things, or anything that sparks creativity. I stumbled upon a couple of blogs who posted a Fall Bucket list. I’ve never made one before, if I have, I probably never followed through. Setting Seasonal goals and hoping to achieve them is such a great way to motivate yourself to get out there! I love this idea and wanted to create my own list for the Fall.

  • Stay Active – I plan on working out 30 mins a day, 5 days a week. As a stay-at-home parent, it’s easy to sleep in and get lazy, but I don’t want to fall back on that. I want to be healthy, active, and have a productive day.
  • Listen to Audiobooks once a week – I am such a slow reader, or I end up falling asleep. LOL! Not good, but I learned that I do better listening than reading stories. Haha! I also like to multi-task as I listen, but maybe I should set a goal to read a book a month. You know, practice and get better? Something I’m currently teaching my daughter on how to read books. ha!
  • Unplug on Social Media – I find myself always reaching for my phone checking social media any downtime I have. I plan to turn off my notifications and view my accounts once a day. Do you think I can hang?
  • Pumpkin Patch – I’ve never been before, so I’d love to take my family!
  • Fall Photos – create more memories with my family.
  • Pumpkin Carving – This will be a fun activity to do before Halloween!
  • Trick or Treat – I think my girls have already decided on what to be for Halloween. We plan on taking them to a shopping center nearby to trick or treat!
  • Friendsgiving – We do this every year with our friends. I love gathering with them and surrounding ourselves with good food and company.
  • Black Friday Shopping – We’ll probably do some shopping shortly after Thanksgiving dinner, but I haven’t decided what exactly I “need.” Yes, I said need, not want. Lol!
  • Donate – I’d love to donate to a charity for Thanksgiving. Giving back should be something we do more often. We are very blessed to be where we are in life, and I would love to give back and teach my girls all about it!
