My family and I traveled back home to Alaska for a week. Probably the shortest trip we’ve ever done. We’ve been so busy traveling this summer that my husband didn’t want to miss too much work.
During our time there, we celebrated my daughters first birthday, ate at our favorite restaurants, tried new places, and caught up with everyone. The last time we were there was Christmas 2018. We’ve noticed a few changes around town since then.
After the birthday party, we packed up the RV and headed to Soldotna. We spent a couple of days there so my in-laws could fish. It was Emmie and Camila’s first time camping, and they had so much fun! I’m sad to say that we didn’t fish this time. Didn’t want to pay that tourist fee and gear. Haha! We pretty much hung out in the RV, caught up with family, ate some excellent food, and made some smores!
On our last day, we gathered with our families one last time before heading back to Seattle. Wish we could’ve stayed a few more days longer! It’s always so good to see everyone!
