For Camila’s first birthday we celebrated it as big as her sisters! Go big or go home, right? Haha! I can’t believe she’s already one. I still imagine the excruciating pain of labor like it was yesterday. Lol!
We flew back home to Alaska and celebrated with all our family and friends. Last time we were here was around Christmas time. She was itty-bitty at the time, so everyone was a bit surprised by how much she has grown. Specifically, by how long she got. Lol!
I had this idea of llamas in my mind. I skimmed through Pinterest for some inspiration! I thought it was the cutest thing ever! It’s so fun, and I love all the bright colors.
Cami’s cake was a two-tier naked cake. A white cake with strawberry frosting and fresh strawberries. So simple yet so delicious! I’m thankful for my sister’s mother-in-law to bake it for us.
We had Hawaiian food catered at the event.
- Mac salad
- Teriyaki beef
- Pulehu chicken
- Chicken katsu
- Kalua pig
- Pichi pichi
For entertainment, I hired ABPhotobooth for our guests. They also design our balloon garland on the cake table. Then, we had a face painter and balloon twister for the kids to enjoy! I think it was a hit! The kids had so much fun!
I hope everyone enjoyed this special day as much as we did. Thank you to every person that was able to attend. We are so grateful to celebrate Cami’s birthday with you guys!
We love you!💕
